The Rule
「好き」は gustar を使うが、好きなものが主語、人が間接目的語になる
Why This Matters
日本語は「私は猫が好き」ですが、スペイン語は「猫が私を喜ばせる」(Me gustan los gatos) という構造です。好きなものが複数なら動詞も複数形にします。
Examples
• Me gusta el chocolate. — "チョコレートが好きです。" [me(私に) + gusta(喜ばせる) + el chocolate(チョコが)] • Me gustan los perros. — "犬が好きです。" [犬(複数) → gustan(複数形)] • A ella le gusta bailar. — "彼女は踊ることが好きです。" [a ella(彼女に) + le(彼女を) + gusta + bailar]
